About The Position

This role is for a Busser/Support Staff at the Renaissance Allentown, a part-time evening position. The primary function is to support servers and bartenders by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables, as well as assisting with guest service needs. This includes delivering food and beverages, refilling water glasses, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service areas. The position also involves stocking supplies, polishing glassware, rolling silverware, and assisting with opening and closing duties. Responsibilities extend to responding to guest requests, adhering to safety standards, and working collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations. This role is suitable for hotels, full-service restaurants, and Marriott-style food and beverage operations where bussers act as general support staff.

Responsibilities

Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly after guests depart.
Assist servers and bartenders with guest service needs.
Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other items as directed.
Refill water glasses and assist with beverage service when appropriate.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, service stations, and restaurant common areas.
Stock and replenish service supplies including silverware, napkins, glassware, and condiments.
Assist with polishing glassware, rolling silverware, and preparing the dining room for service.
Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
Support restaurant opening, closing, and side-work duties.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Work cooperatively with all team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
