About The Position

Sarabeth’s is seeking a Busser/Service Assistant to join their team. This role is responsible for assisting servers with water refills, bussing tables, and running food. The Busser ensures dishes are cleared and tables are wiped down promptly, maintaining a clean and positive environment for both guests and staff. Sarabeth's is renowned for its popular brunch, contemporary American cuisine, lively happy hours, and private events, priding itself on creating memorable guest experiences through genuine hospitality and exceptional cuisine.

Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of busser experience in a well-rated restaurant.
Friendly and engaging demeanor with team members and guests.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize while remaining calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of hygiene and safety rules.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including carrying up to 40 pounds, walking, and standing for the entire shift duration.
Commitment to maintaining availability that aligns with the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

Assist servers in providing excellent service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Set up and service of water, bread, and coffee.
Learn and follow steps of service.
Practice effective table maintenance.
Clean, clear, and reset tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest.
Keep the restaurant clean, stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
Maintain health and safety regulations in all work areas and the dining room.
Greet every guest in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Offer assistance and accommodate guest requests whenever possible.
Offer a warm farewell and thank you to every guest as they leave the restaurant.
Immediately notify management of any guest complaints or interactions that indicate guest dissatisfaction.
