About The Position

Bussers are an essential part of how Tupelo Grille operates at a high level. You support servers, maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the dining room, and ensure tables are turned efficiently and with care. This is a role that requires physical stamina, situational awareness, and a genuine commitment to the team. It is also an excellent entry point for anyone interested in building a career in hospitality.

Requirements

• No prior experience required — we will train the right person
• Able to carry trays and bus tubs, lift up to 40 lbs, and stay on your feet for a full shift
• Punctual, reliable, and a true team player
• Basic English communication skills required

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables promptly between guests, following Tupelo's table set standards
• Deliver bread, water, and other table items as directed by servers
• Assist servers with running food when needed
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining room throughout service — sweep, wipe, and reset as needed
• Support servers with pre-bussing during the meal to maintain clear, comfortable tables
• Stock server stations with necessary supplies throughout the shift
• Assist with opening and closing sidework as assigned
• Communicate table status and floor needs to the host and manager
