About The Position

This role is for a part-time Busser with AM shifts at the Renaissance Allentown. The position involves clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables, assisting servers and bartenders, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining room and common areas. The busser will also be responsible for stocking supplies, polishing glassware, rolling silverware, and supporting opening and closing duties. Prompt and professional response to guest requests, adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, and cooperative teamwork are essential. This role is suitable for hotels, full-service restaurants, and Marriott-style food and beverage operations where bussers provide general support.

Responsibilities

Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly after guests depart.
Assist servers and bartenders with guest service needs.
Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other items as directed.
Refill water glasses and assist with beverage service when appropriate.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, service stations, and restaurant common areas.
Stock and replenish service supplies including silverware, napkins, glassware, and condiments.
Assist with polishing glassware, rolling silverware, and preparing the dining room for service.
Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
Support restaurant opening, closing, and side-work duties.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Work cooperatively with all team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
