About The Position

The Busser assists the Outlet Manager and Restaurant Servers in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and providing guests with stellar service. This is a part-time role at the Kartrite Resort & Waterpark in the Catskills, a modern indoor waterpark and luxury lodge experience.

Requirements

Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
Ability to grasp, lift, carry, or otherwise transport up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart or truck weighing a maximum of 150 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.

Responsibilities

Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting.
Promptly and consistently reset service ware.
Maintain the stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods, including necessary equipment such as silverware, linen, and condiments.
Serve guests beverages, bread, and butter at the start of their dining experience and replenish as needed.
Transport dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
