About The Position

Under the direction of the Supervisor Food & Beverage, the Busser is responsible for maintaining the appearance of their assigned work area and station by cleaning, stocking and organizing. They also responsible for delivering and expediting food orders and condiments to guests in various food venues as necessary. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Maintains the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of workstations and dining rooms. Ensures the floor is always clean and presentable. Disposes of all refuse accumulated during the assigned shift, including boxes. Keeps walkways clear of any debris, ensuring cleanliness as needed. Clears and wipes down tables and removes food trays to maintain a clean and organized presentation. 2. Ensures that stations are fully stocked with condiments, plastic ware, coffee, and other necessary items, maintaining a well-organized and efficient setup. Restocks ice bins at the start of shift and continuously during operations as needed to ensure a steady supply. 3. Delivers food and any necessary condiments to guests, ensuring that all items are presented neatly and accurately. Assists team members and management on duty with special assignments as needed, providing support and contributing to the efficient operation of the department. 4. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in the English language.
  • Must be able to perform simple mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Must be able to provide friendly and efficient service to guests and team members, addressing their needs and resolving issues.
  • Must be able to have clear and effective communication with guests and team members.
  • Must be able to work under pressure by staying calm and efficient during busy period(s).
  • At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Food Handlers Card.
  • Must present a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with departmental policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum three (3) months of related experience and/or training preferred.
