Requirements
- High school diploma
- 0 to 2 years of experience
- Performs work under direct supervision.
- Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
- Clerical skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Oral communication skills.
- Customer/client orientation.
Responsibilities
- Clear dishes and glassware while guests enjoy their meals.
- Clean and reset tables between guests.
- Keep the dining area spotless and inviting.
- Refill service areas and lend a hand to waitstaff when needed.
- Occasionally jump in to help with dishwashing duties.
