About The Position

Murrieta Hot Springs Resort is seeking a professional, attentive, and service-oriented Busser to support our Fine Dining Restaurant team. The Busser plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the dining room while assisting servers and culinary staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing warm, gracious hospitality that reflects the resort's standards.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Fine dining or upscale restaurant experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to provide exceptional guest service and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and repetitive movements.
  • Ability to work in a busy restaurant environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Strong commitment to guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence.
  • Ability to anticipate guest and team needs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain dining room tables according to restaurant standards.
  • Promptly clear and reset tables to ensure efficient guest seating and service flow.
  • Refill water glasses and assist with beverage service as directed.
  • Support servers by delivering bread, food items, condiments, and other guest requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and side work areas.
  • Polish silverware, glassware, and other dining equipment as assigned.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including dining room preparation and breakdown.
  • Monitor dining room appearance and ensure all guest-facing areas remain clean and presentable.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, managers, and kitchen staff to support seamless service.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of service supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
  • Respond to guest needs with professionalism, urgency, and a positive attitude.
  • Support resort and restaurant special events, banquets, and private dining functions as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
