About The Position

Momofuku Bussers support the service team with the common goal of providing the best Momofuku experience. Bussers provide service that is knowledgeable, approachable, and energetic while upholding company standards and values. Super Peach by Momofuku is a new restaurant located in the Westfield Century City Mall. Part of the larger Momofuku family, Super Peach is an approachable, fast-paced concept built for high volume and bold flavor. Super Peach offers the opportunity to join a growing team focused on sharp execution, great hospitality, and creating a high-energy dining experience from the ground up.

Requirements

  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude, as well as a desire to learn, grow, and develop new skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve guest conflict
  • Willing to accept guidance in a positive manner and implement the direction in a way that is productive for both you and the team
  • Able to work in a standing/walking position for long periods of time
  • Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability in a constantly changing environment

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience as a Busser, Runner, Back Server, or related role in a restaurant with a comparable service style and/or cuisine
  • Ability to train new Bussers in all aspects and responsibilities of the role
  • A proven track record of dependability and a continuous focus on learning and development

Responsibilities

  • Support service team with ongoing table and floor maintenance, including, but not limited to: water service, clearing and cleaning tables and resetting tables with proper tableware
  • Provide knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, and energetic service at all times
  • Maintain full menu knowledge for both food and beverage items, including all allergen information
  • Adhere to all company service standards and protocols
  • Assist in the cleaning and polishing of all tableware
  • Receive instruction from multiple sources and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ensure proper table maintenance, including water service and pre-bussing
  • Stock and prepare service-related items
  • Maintain professional and warm guest communications
  • Recognize key people in the industry, VIP guests and contacts related to the company and follow company protocol related to their visit
  • Communicate respectfully and clearly with service team and management
  • Support team members in the completion of their duties to ensure satisfaction of all guests before, during, and after service
  • Engage management for any escalated guest situations
  • Adhere to Momofuku's Cleaning and sanitation SOPs
  • Additional service and/or operational tasks as determined by manager
  • Adhere to grooming and dress code standards
  • Assist teammates to anticipate all other front of house needs
