About The Position

Responsible for clearing plates and re-setting the table in a timely manner, as well as maintaining full water glasses and bread, if applicable. This role adheres to Sycamore's Policies and Procedures, acts as a role model, and maintains a positive and respectful attitude with coworkers and customers. The employee consistently reports to work on time, prepared to perform duties, and participates in monthly safety training, demonstrating honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• Must be able to work holidays, weekends and evenings.
• California Food Handler card and Responsible Beverage Service training.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Basic typing skills and ability to operate standard office equipment including: copier, fax, telephone, calculator, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, POS and Payroll systems.
• Calculate figures and amounts.
• Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work in stressful situations.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time or an entire shift, repetitive motions, climb stairs, balance, stoop, squat, bend, twist, kneel, reach, grasp and squeeze with both hands.
• Talk or hear; taste or smell.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move, carry, push and pull up to 30lbs.

• Bilingual skill is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clearing plates during service and after guests have departed.
• Serving water upon guest arrival.
• Refill waters and bread throughout service.

• Completing check list before end of shift.
