About The Position
The Busser/Runner position at DraftKings Sports & Social Columbus requires an energetic, outgoing, and fun personality while maintaining professionalism. This role involves performing varied duties to ensure all aspects of proper service steps are met, offering polite, professional, and courteous customer service. The Busser/Runner will support serving staff, assist in meeting customer needs expediently, and maintain service stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout the shift. Responsibilities include clearing and cleaning tables, resetting them according to specifications, performing multiple tasks simultaneously, communicating effectively with co-workers and guests, completing assigned side work, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area for safety. The role also involves restocking service stations.
Requirements
- Prior customer service and/or restaurant experience preferred.
- Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred.
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the venue, the brand and the Company.
- Reading and writing abilities are utilized often to answer guest’s questions regarding the menu.
- Basic mathematical skills are used frequently.
- Strong ability to provide attention to detail.
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Handling objects (including food and utensils), products, and bussing tubs/trays.
- Standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
- Must be able to move about the entire facility safely and efficiently.
