Trumbull Kitchen, located in the heart of downtown Hartford, is seeking a Busser/Food Runner with open availability to join our energetic and dynamic team. Requirements

• Prior experience as a Busser or in a similar support role in a restaurant is preferred
• Comfortable in a high-volume, fine-dining or upscale-casual setting
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong work ethic
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Clear communicator with a focus on maintaining a smooth service flow
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
• Open availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring a quick turnaround for guests
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, restrooms, and service stations
• Assist servers by delivering water, bread, and clearing plates as needed
• Set up and break down service stations and ensure they are fully stocked
• Assist with running food from the kitchen to the dining room
• Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service operations
• Contribute to creating a positive atmosphere for both guests and staff
