About The Position

Buck & Honey’s is seeking enthusiastic and friendly bussers and food runners to join our team! Applicants must be at least 16 years of age to be considered for this role. As a support staff member, you’ll assist servers and bartenders to create a unique and memorable experience for our guests. In this role, you may serve as a host, busser, food runner, or dock hand, contributing to the seamless flow of restaurant operations. At Buck & Honey’s, support staff deliver exceptional hospitality with enthusiasm, positivity, and a personal touch.

Requirements

At least 16 years of age
Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively both as a team and independently.
Strong customer service skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.
Accountability for actions, successes, and areas for improvement.
Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and changing organizational needs.
Maintain a high level of personal grooming, cleanliness, and professional appearance.
Familiarity with or willingness to learn restaurant software and applications (for hosts and dock hands).
Standing and walking for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
Ability to lift and carry 25-40 lbs.
Perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and stooping.
Visual acuity to distinguish shapes and ensure safety.
Hearing ability to understand and respond to verbal communication effectively.

Responsibilities

Act professionally and positively with coworkers, guests, and the public.
Answer phones, take reservations, and process take-out orders (hosts, dock hands).
Clear and reset tables efficiently.
Collaborate as a supportive teammate with all coworkers.
Maintain pristine cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
Perform hourly restroom checks, ensuring proper levels of supplies (e.g., paper towels, soap, toilet paper).
