About The Position

Seabury at Pomperaug Woods is seeking a friendly, dependable part-time Busser to support dining room service and occasionally provide dishwashing coverage. The role helps create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests in a hospitality-focused environment. The schedule is Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, for a total of six hours per week.

Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds regularly and occasionally assist with heavier kitchen items.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and push or pull carts safely throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

Experience in dining services, hospitality, restaurants, healthcare, or senior living; the employer is willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Clear and reset dining tables during and after meal service.
Assist servers by refilling beverages and delivering requested items.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of dining rooms, service stations, and wait areas.
Transport dishes, glassware, and utensils to designated dishwashing areas.
Assist with food delivery to support timely service.
Help residents with walkers and other dining room needs when appropriate.
Provide occasional dishwashing coverage, including washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes, pots, and utensils.
Complete assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks.
Follow food safety and workplace safety standards.
Provide outstanding customer service to residents and guests.
