About The Position

The Forbes 4-Star Conrad New York Downtown is seeking a Busperson to join its Food & Beverage Team. This luxury hotel in Lower Manhattan features 463 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and three food and beverage outlets including a 3-meal restaurant, rooftop bar, and in-room dining. This is a temporary, union position (Local 6) requiring complete open availability, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Full-time hours are not guaranteed and may vary based on seniority and business needs, potentially being minimal until seniority is established. The successful candidate must be comfortable with a schedule and hours that may vary from week to week.

Responsibilities

Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
Assist food server(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc.
Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
