About The Position
The Art Ovation Hotel, managed by Shaner Hotels, is seeking a Busperson/Food Runner to join their team. This role is crucial in assisting servers to provide quality food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a seamless and efficient dining experience. The position requires maintaining cleanliness of tables, service areas, and equipment, as well as stocking necessary wares and equipment for service. The ideal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and will uphold food and beverage safety and quality standards according to hotel specifications. This role also involves ensuring effective communication with various hotel departments and staff.
Requirements
- Previous guest relations and/or training.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
Responsibilities
- Assist Server in providing quality food and beverage service to guests, according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas and equipment.
- Stock all wares and equipment needed for service.
- Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department.
- Maintains food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.
- Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
