2027 Business Valuation Consultant Intern
About The Position
As an intern, you’ll be treated just like our entry level staff and part of the team providing valuation services to our clients. We’ll give you the flexibility to craft business solutions, not just spreadsheets. You can look forward to working on a variety of assignments, including the valuation of equity securities, business enterprises, intangible assets, and stock options. You will participate in all phases of engagement including interviewing clients, researching industry value drivers, financial modeling, assisting in writing valuation reports, and supporting clients for financial reporting, tax planning, or litigation support. You will deliver results to clients in interesting industries, including but not limited to Private Equity, Venture Capital, Manufacturing, Tech & Software, Automotive, Architecture & Engineering, Food & Beverage, Retail, and Healthcare.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented leader with problem solving, communication, and analytical skills.
- Excellent skill sets in the use of MS Word and Excel.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
- Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).
Responsibilities
- Working on a variety of assignments, including the valuation of equity securities, business enterprises, intangible assets, and stock options.
- Participating in all phases of engagement including interviewing clients, researching industry value drivers, financial modeling, assisting in writing valuation reports from start to finish and communicating conclusions to clients.
- Supporting our clients, whether they need our opinions for financial reporting, tax planning or litigation support.
- Delivering results to clients in interesting industries, including but not limited to: Private Equity, Venture Capital, Manufacturing, Tech & Software, Automotive, Architecture & Engineering, Food & Beverage, Retail, Healthcare.
