About The Position

Whippany Actuation Systems is a dynamic aerospace company that designs and manufactures electromechanical actuators and control electronics for commercial and military applications. We are looking for a Business Unit Sales Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the customer sales cycle and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure on time delivery. They are responsible for supporting the sale of new and existing products and will oversee the development and execution of all marketing initiatives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration (or high school diploma/GED with at least four years’ relevant experience).
  • At least 3 years of experience with contract administration, customer relations, or supply chain.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Eligibility for any required authorizations from the US government, to conform with US export regulations and ITAR 120.15 and EAR Part 772.
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. Whippany Actuation Systems will require proof of status before employment.

Responsibilities

  • Administers assigned contracts by handling contract modifications, ensuring compliance with customer Purchase Order (PO) requirements, proposal preparation, and contract negotiation with existing or prospective clients.
  • Performs all aspects of assigned contracts or purchase order processing including, but not limited to, accuracy of order entry data, contract funding, scope changes, contract amendments, receipts and delivery schedules, legal requirements, and other commitments.
  • Coordinates with other company functions as required to ensure appropriate reviews are conducted, schedules required reviews, and obtains required review and approval signatures prior to submittal of proposals or execution of contractual document.
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships. Investigates concerns and adjusts complaints concerning deliveries or service and refers complaints to designated departments for investigation. Aids customers with problem resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives including but not limited to, print/digital advertising, social media, and website maintenance.
  • Assists in ensuring contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company polices, legal requirements, customer specifications, FAR and DFAR.
