About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Unit Group Manager for its Irving, Texas location. This role drives administrative, operational, reporting, and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams. The manager will oversee financial control by applying a comprehensive understanding of the department's Profit & Loss (P&L), including accruals, client allocations, capitalization, recovery, and fixed price contracts to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities include managing all cross-product technology, regulatory, and administrative duties, encompassing financial, staffing, quality, risk, and regulatory matters. The role involves executing vendor management activities, ensuring legal requirements are met, and coordinating contract negotiation and processing. Additionally, it provides oversight of the Business Critical Milestone Reporting process and other reporting processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy. The manager will ensure accurate headcount, inventory and planning of real estate, and manage the onboarding and termination of resources. Collaboration with Technology leadership is key to supporting the Business People strategy and the department's Communication strategy. The role also includes managing external audits, performing business continuity activities, and addressing regulatory issues. Coordination and management of activities such as tracking business financials, employee headcounts, and other administrative needs and data management and reporting projects are also required. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

  • Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Management or related field and 8 years of experience as a Business Unit Group Manager, HR Advisor, HR Generalist, HR Manager or related position performing Operational and Process Management within the financial services industry.
  • Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the listed fields and 10 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as in the listed positions.
  • Full span of experience must include: Risk Management; Working with Legal and Regulatory Compliance, including employment laws, regulations, and ethical practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks; Change management; Business strategy support; Workforce planning.
  • Additionally, 7 years must include: Data Analysis and tools using Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel; Global business; Developing organizational effectiveness plans.
