About The Position

The recently renovated Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Biltmore is seeking a motivated Business Travel & Group Sales Manager to join our team. This role focuses on driving revenue through business travel and group segments, managing local and corporate negotiated accounts, and identifying new opportunities for growth. Responsibilities include negotiating airline and permanent agreements, maintaining key client relationships, and supporting overall sales strategy as needed. Located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood, the 232‑suite hotel features over 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including the newly added Camelback Room, making it a premier destination for meetings and events in the Valley. What Will I Be Doing? As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing designated market segments by generating new business while maintaining and expanding existing accounts. You will actively sell guest rooms, meeting space, and food and beverage services through proactive prospecting, relationship building, and effective negotiation to maximize overall hotel revenue.

Requirements

  • 2+years of hotel sales experience
  • Proven experience in business travel sales highly preferred
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel on short notice and adapt to changing schedules
  • Highly professional verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and solicit new business through outbound sales efforts, client entertainment, site visits, and industry events
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through strategic account management
  • Prepare proposals, determine rates, negotiate contracts, and execute agreements in alignment with hotel revenue goals
  • Conduct site inspections and present the hotel through compelling storytelling tailored to client needs
  • Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans for assigned markets
  • Maintain an accurate and up‑to‑date sales pipeline using Delphi FDC and other designated systems
  • Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and successful execution of contracted business
  • Analyze lost business and market trends to adjust sales strategies and improve results
  • Engage Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention & Visitors Bureaus, and intermediaries to secure group and business travel opportunities
