Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of hotel sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in business transient sales, corporate accounts, or group sales strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of hotel sales processes, revenue management principles, and contract negotiations.
  • Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Delphi / Salesforce, PEP, Hilton Platform and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for client appointments and networking events.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, solicit, and secure new corporate accounts to generate business transient room nights and revenue.
  • Manage and grow existing negotiated corporate accounts through regular communication, site visits, and account reviews.
  • Conduct outside sales calls, networking events, and client appointments to develop new business opportunities.
  • Participate in annual corporate RFP processes and negotiate preferred rates with key accounts.
  • Monitor production reports and adjust sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
  • Maintain accurate account information, activities, and opportunities within the CRM system.
  • Generate and secure corporate group room block business for training programs, project teams, relocations, meetings, and other corporate events.
  • Collaborate with meeting planners, executive assistants, and corporate travel managers to identify group opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and room block agreements in a timely manner.
  • Conduct hotel site visits and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Partner with Operations and Revenue Management teams to ensure successful execution of contracted business.
  • Monitor pickup, rooming lists, and block utilization to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on achieving room night and revenue goals.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through continuous prospecting and lead generation.
  • Provide weekly sales activity reports, forecasts, and production updates.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
  • Attend hotel sales meetings and contribute to overall revenue strategies.
