About The Position

Michels Corporation is seeking a Business Systems Solutions Analyst to support business processes and system solutions across assigned functional areas, specifically within Risk and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment). This role involves evaluating current processes and technologies to identify inefficiencies, recommending improvements, and implementing solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field, 3-5 years of related and/or operational experience, or an equivalent combination
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a liaison between IT and another business focus, or experience working on large, cross-functional projects
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Competent with Microsoft Visio and Project
• A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

• Familiar with project management fundamentals
• Familiar with reporting: SQL, Crystal, Dashboards, Pivot charts

Responsibilities

• Act as the internal expert of processes and solutions within Risk and HSE teams
• Collaboratively identify areas for process and solution improvements
• Work collaboratively with IT project managers on large projects
• Take ownership of projects, maintaining a high level of interaction with end users to communicate status updates and deadlines
• Learn to configure purchased solutions to expand the capability of the solution
• Create documentation for applications or customizations that are implemented
