About The Position

The Business Systems Project Manager is responsible for managing the selection, testing, and installation of business systems for Energy Services. This includes developing business processes and employee training to support new systems to meet project goals and deadlines. The primary purpose of this position is to assess, examine, analyze, develop, plan, and implement business and program processes within Energy Services, and Finance & Operations when requested. The role also involves evaluating current business and program application systems’ functionality to identify gaps, leverage capabilities, measure solution impact on business operations, and manage organizational change. This is an internal posting for permanent, time-limited, layoff priority employees of UNC -Chapel Hill, and temporary employees hired directly by UNC -Chapel Hill only.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a business analyst
  • At least 1 year of experience working with financial/accounting systems and processes within a university environment
  • Project management experience

Responsibilities

  • Managing the selection, testing and installation of business systems for Energy Services
