About The Position

Tecovas is looking for a Supply Chain Business Systems & Operations Analyst to own and improve the systems, data, and processes that power our product lifecycle and vendor compliance work. Reporting directly to the Manager, Supply Chain Business Systems & Operations, you will serve as the business owner of our product lifecycle management platform, build our vendor compliance system of record, and partner across Supply Chain, Merchandining, Product Development, and Tech to keep critical product data accurate and connected. This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a business systems analyst, PLM administrator, product data manager, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience owning and configuring a PLM platform such as WFX, Centric, PTC FlexPLM, Bamboo Rose, or a comparable system.
  • Experience building or managing a structured records process, including document requirements, storage, status, expiration, and renewal.
  • Experience gathering requirements, leading user acceptance testing, rolling out system changes, and creating clear documentation and training.
  • Working knowledge of how a PLM connects to an ERP and other downstream business systems.
  • Familiarity with Time & Action calendars and bills of materials in a product development environment.
  • Strong data skills, including SQL or advanced spreadsheet capabilities.
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail, especially when it comes to records, dates, data quality, and follow-through.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Comfortable owning a high-impact system and making thoughtful decisions about processes, priorities, and data standards.
  • Approaches support with a problem-solving mindset and looks for the root cause of recurring issues rather than treating them as one-off tickets.
  • Writes clear, practical documentation that people can actually use.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product lifecycle management (PLM) platform from the business side, gathering requirements, prioritizing enhancements, and defining workflows, fields, naming, and taxonomy.
  • Build and maintain the vendor compliance system of record, including document intake, verification, storage, status, expiration, renewals, exceptions, audit reports, and corrective action plans.
  • Consolidate existing vendor compliance records into a verified baseline and establish clear standards for what must be on file by partner type.
  • Build and execute test plans for system changes, lead user acceptance testing, and document release notes, known issues, and workarounds.
  • Own the Time & Action calendar and support Product Development with milestone templates, seasonal setup, style data, and bill-of-materials completeness.
  • Govern product data standards and run regular data-quality audits to resolve issues before they impact integrations, launches, or product pages.
  • Own business-side integrations between the PLM and downstream systems, monitoring data flows, troubleshooting discrepancies, and partnering with Tech on field mappings and technical issues.
  • Own user access, support, training, and documentation, while identifying and fixing the root cause of recurring system issues.
