About The Position

The Business Systems Manager leads the strategy, governance, delivery and continuous improvement of digital platforms, and the data capabilities that support GSR product stewardship, sustainability, and product compliance. Serves as the primary business systems partner across GSR, translating the Regulatory business needs into scalable system capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in technical or analytical field (e.g. information technology, computer science, engineering, data science)
• 5-8 years of progressive experience in business systems analysis, product compliance, regulatory systems or related technical field.
• Strong data management capabilities, including governance, quality controls, structured datasets, reporting and analysis across integrated platforms.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree or relevant certifications in business analysis, project management or related discipline.
• Working experience with GSR, Product Stewardship or product compliance regulations and frameworks such as REACH, RoHS, WEEE, EPR, restricted substances, and packaging.
• Working experience with Compliance Map/CMAP, REACH IS, ERP, PLM, supplier data platforms, business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Owns the business roadmap and lifecycle of GSR platforms, including Compliance Map/CMAP, REACH IS, and related solutions. Establishing priorities based on regulatory risk, user need and technical dependencies.
• Leads and or participate in cross functional initiatives; providing strategic insights and system analysis to support the business. Partner with IT BRM/Delivery/Support teams.
• Plans for GSR tracking and trending activities, aligning available resources to ensure deliverables are met.
• Serves as Business Process Owner (BPO) for assigned systems, accountable for business process effectiveness, intended use, regulatory compliance, business risk, data integrity, requirements definition, testing and business acceptance. Leads system implementations, enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and decommissioning activities while managing scope, risks, dependencies, change control, vendor and stakeholder relationships, service performance, training, SOPs, audits, resource planning, budget forecasting, and continuous process improvement.
• Communicates professionally with internal and external stakeholders to support departmental goals and sustainability data initiatives.
