Position Overview: As our Business Systems Manager, you'll be the driving force behind how our systems run! You'll lead and mentor the Systems Analyst team to implement, configure, and optimize enterprise software-ensuring everything works seamlessly and supports our business goals. From turning data into actionable insights to coordinating with IT, business units, and vendors, you'll create smooth, efficient processes that keep our organization performing at its best.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in business systems, systems analysis, or application management-experience in financial services, especially credit unions or banking, is strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience, with a track record of inspiring teams and supporting professional growth.
  • Strong expertise in core processing systems (Fiserv DNA preferred), digital banking platforms, and loan origination systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver technology solutions that align with business goals.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work seamlessly with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the Systems Analyst team, helping them grow professionally while driving the credit union's strategic goals. Address performance issues promptly and fairly.
  • Oversee implementation, configuration, and upgrades of key enterprise applications-including our core banking system (Fiserv DNA), digital banking Platforms (Q2), loan origination systems (MeridianLink), and other critical tools.
  • Ensure systems operate efficiently, remain compliant, and provide a seamless experience for users.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand their needs, translate them into technical solutions, and align systems with strategic objectives.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for complex system issues and act as an escalation point when challenges arise.
  • Coordinate with vendors on implementations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to keep initiatives on track and successful.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and change management processes.
  • Ensure all systems comply with regulatory requirements, security standards, and audit practices.
