About The Position

NFI Parts™ is North America’s most comprehensive organization providing parts, technical publications, training, and support for buses and motor coaches. NFI Parts is the parts division of NFI Group, providing replacement parts for New Flyer® transit buses, MCI® motor coaches, ADL buses, ARBOC® vehicles, as well as the product lines for the acquired NABI and Orion parts businesses. NFI Parts maintains extensive cross-references for parts and has established relationships with over 1,000 suppliers. The position leads data‑driven initiatives by designing, testing, documenting, and operationalizing AI‑enabled and analytics solutions across Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and related enterprise systems. Responsibilities include coordinating business‑value projects, developing scalable data processes, supporting user adoption, and providing Snowflake administration—monitoring usage, optimizing performance, managing roles, and ensuring governance across platforms.

Requirements

  • Post secondary education in a business or STEM field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Any combination of training and/or certifications in Data Science, Statistics, and Artificial Intelligence
  • 2+ years of experience in a data science, AI, or advanced analytics role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Fabric/Power BI and Snowflake
  • Solid understanding of AI model evaluation and workflows
  • Deep knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based data platforms
  • Excellent communication skills to present data-driven insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and possesses initiative to seek improvements.
  • Exceptional data problem-solving and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, extremely organized, self-starter, detail oriented, strong computing and facilitation skills

Responsibilities

  • Work with various ERP and IOT data sources to build interactive and dynamic Power BI dashboards for data storytelling and stakeholder decision support.
  • Perform data exploration, statistical analysis, and feature engineering to support AI initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of AI-driven tools and frameworks within the organization.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects involving manufacturing, quality, supply chain and engineering.
  • Update training, and documentation.
  • Deliver user training to operating groups as required.
  • Assist in managing Snowflake processes and costs.
