About The Position

Multimatic's IT group is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support systems managing employee data, including Workday, integrations, and SAP Employee Master. The role requires strong technical expertise in Workday configuration, integrations, reporting, and cross-system data integrity. As part of the Enterprise IT team, the Business Systems Analyst (Workday & Employee Systems) is responsible for supporting, configuring, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise-wide HR systems and technologies. The role supports the integrity, integration, and reliability of Workday and connected employee data systems, including SAP Employee Master and related enterprise platforms. This position acts as a second- and third-line support resource for the user community and works with Corporate HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, SaaS providers, and other business stakeholders. The role supports Workday system architecture and design, Workday HCM and SAP ERP integration, testing, documentation, system enhancement delivery, and ongoing technology-focused improvements.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring, supporting, and enhancing Workday HCM.
  • Experience with Workday business processes, configuration, security, reporting, and data management.
  • Experience supporting HR systems and employee data, including confidentiality and sensitive information handling.
  • Familiarity with SAP Employee Master data and cross-system employee data alignment.
  • Understanding of integration technologies such as APIs, middleware, EIB, Workday Studio, or similar integration tools.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, data validation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of business process design, mapping, testing, documentation, and support procedures.
  • Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Workday Studio and EIB experience.
  • SAP S/4HANA HR, SAP Employee Master, or SuccessFactors exposure.
  • SQL, advanced reporting tools, or data visualization experience.
  • Experience with help desk systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
  • Exposure to project management, agile, lean, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or global enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Workday modules, business processes, security, and related configuration workbooks.
  • Develop and support advanced Workday reports, dashboards, data validation outputs, and operational reporting requirements.
  • Build, troubleshoot, and support integrations between Workday, SAP Employee Master, and other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure employee data alignment and integrity between Workday, SAP Employee Master, and downstream consuming systems.
  • Manage day-to-day HR IT system operations and provide ongoing second- and third-line support to HR and IT stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, integration errors, configuration defects, and user access issues.
  • Lead or support the implementation of HR system enhancements, releases, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee recurring Workday releases and updates, ensuring changes are reviewed, tested, documented, and accurately applied.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, configuration designs, reports, integration changes, test scripts, and support documentation.
  • Design, prepare, and maintain technical specifications, configuration workbooks, test scripts, training documentation, and support procedures.
  • Research, analyze, and recommend new HR technology capabilities that improve system use, support business processes, and address business gaps.
  • Support HR technology communication, training, change management, and knowledge sharing with HR and IT partners.
  • Manage vendor service delivery and SLAs for HRIS SaaS providers as required.
  • Adopt and practice Kaizen principles and participate in Gear activities.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and hands-on support to investigate and resolve issues identified by divisions or business partners.
  • Participate in monthly and yearly weekend system maintenance as required.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Business Solutions Manager.
