About The Position

The Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Business Systems Analyst, who will serve as the analyst to the OMBO program office team supporting the SNS. This role involves participating in meetings with senior officials from HHS, ASPR, and SNS, analyzing existing or proposed procedures, systems, strategies, and services to identify needs for improvement or assist in development of methods and resources to accomplish such improvements. The analyst will work with stakeholders to understand business needs, evaluate and document requirements, and collaborate with IT teams to develop, configure, and test systems that meet business requirements. Additionally, the role includes conducting data mining, analysis, and modeling from structured and unstructured data using analytics tools (e.g., Excel and Power BI), extracting insights to develop findings, inferences, conclusions, and recommendations. The analyst will translate the results of analysis into clear, actionable communications, create and publish sustainable reports and dashboards, and develop and maintain working relationships with appropriate organizations. This position also involves researching, collecting, compiling, and reviewing qualitative and quantitative information and data for program decisions, assisting with system recommendations to senior officials, and maintaining continuous readiness by remaining flexible to respond 24 hours a day, year-round. Support for emergency management/incident response functions and other related duties are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into technical, low-code solutions. (i.e. Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Required to be on-call 24 hours/7 days a week.
  • Must be able to respond to mission alerts within 15 minutes with a recall of 90 minutes to report to designated location.
  • Must carry a cell phone at all times.
  • Ability to work handle requests from multiple groups/organizations.
  • Able to identify errors, problems, or non-standard situations and suggest alternatives.
  • Proficient in common software, particularly with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must possess character traits of being accurate, meticulous, proactive, efficient, self-starter, a team player.
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Public Trust suitability.
