About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst with extensive knowledge of Airtable to join their Category Management and Marketing Operations team. This role will serve as a primary functional expert and administrator for vendor-funded marketing processes built in Airtable. The BSA will partner with business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize solutions that improve operational efficiency, data visibility, and process automation. This role translates business requirements into scalable applications, workflows, integrations, and reporting solutions while ensuring data quality, governance, and user adoption.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of Airtable
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining Airtable bases, tables, interfaces, automations, and dashboards.
  • Experience developing scalable data models using linked records, lookups, rollups, formulas, and custom views.
  • Experience configuring Airtable Interfaces.
  • Experience managing user permissions, access controls, and governance standards.
  • Experience creating and maintaining Airtable automations.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams to integrate Airtable with other business systems using APIs, middleware, or integration platforms.
  • Experience establishing data standards and ensuring data integrity.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Experience performing data analysis.
  • Experience serving as a main point of contact for system-related questions and issue resolution.
  • Experience creating user documentation, training materials, and operating procedures.
  • Experience conducting training sessions.
  • Experience participating in system enhancement projects and platform implementations.
  • Experience supporting testing activities including user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Experience tracking project achievements, risks, and dependencies.
  • Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or 3+ years of experience in business analysis, process optimization and advanced Airtable expertise including Interfaces, Automations, and API integrations.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts and experience creating workflows, automations, and reporting solutions.
  • Experience writing code and implementing scripting software integrations in Airtable
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project management protocols to include project plan management and risk and dependency identification
  • Experience with change management and user adoption initiatives to include training.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business teams to understand operational challenges and document business requirements.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, process mapping workshops, and stakeholder interviews.
  • Analyze current-state processes and recommend technology-enabled improvements.
  • Create business requirements documents, workflow diagrams, and solution designs.
  • Design, build, and maintain Airtable bases, tables, interfaces, automations, and dashboards.
  • Develop scalable data models using linked records, lookups, rollups, formulas, and custom views.
  • Configure Airtable Interfaces to support various user groups and business processes and manage user permissions, access controls, and governance standards.
  • Create and maintain Airtable automations to eliminate manual processes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate Airtable with other business systems using APIs, middleware, or integration platforms.
  • Monitor automation performance and solve workflow issues.
  • Find opportunities for increased efficiency through automation and digital transformation.
  • Establish data standards and ensure data integrity across Airtable solutions.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs that provide actionable business insights.
  • Perform data analysis and recommend process improvements based on trends and metrics.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Airtable-related questions and issue resolution.
  • Create user documentation, training materials, operating procedures and provide guidance on Airtable guidelines and governance standards.
  • Conduct training sessions and support ongoing user adoption initiatives.
