About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in supporting and improving business processes through the effective use of systems and data. This position partners closely with Accounting, Sales, Operations, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, system alignment, and efficient workflows across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience with ERP systems, master data management, and cross-functional business operations while building a strong foundation in systems, analytics, and process improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards) or ability to quickly learn complex systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of ownership and accountability over data accuracy.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, lookups, data validation); ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Problem-solving mindset with curiosity and interest in systems, data, and process improvement.
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative, team-first approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business systems, accounting operations, data management, or a related role.
  • Candidates must have a verifiable history of safe vehicle operation and meet company standards for driving eligibility. This includes maintaining a clean driving record, which will be verified through a background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards, Oracle)
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document system requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Assist with EDI mapping and system configurations to support efficient sales order processing.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of finished goods data across ERP and external platforms (e.g., 1WorldSync).
  • Own the setup and maintenance of critical master data, including items, bills of materials, customers, suppliers, and general ledger accounts.
  • Develop and maintain exception reports and support data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of system information.
  • Provide day-to-day support to end-users and promote effective system utilization through guidance and training.
  • Accurately maintain customer pricing and account information, ensuring alignment with contract terms.
  • Support setup and maintenance of capital assets and financial structures within the ERP.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data accuracy, streamline workflows, and improve system efficiency; support continuous improvement initiatives across teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.
