The Human Resources and Risk Management Business Systems Analyst plays a key role in supporting the department’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS), through the Workday Enterprise Resource Planning platform, and other digital solutions. This position provides advanced technical expertise, manages complex projects, and ensures the integrity, reliability, and effective performance of HRIS and Workday systems. As the primary technical liaison for the Human Resources and Risk Management Department, this role is responsible for collaborating with section team members as needed to design, configure, optimize, and improve system functionality; developing and maintaining reporting tools and dashboards; coordinating system testing, upgrades, integrations, and documentation; and delivering training to help system users successfully adopt new Workday features, enhancements, and evolving business processes. The Purchasing Business Systems Analyst plays an important role in supporting the department’s purchasing systems, including the Workday Enterprise Resource Planning platform and other digital tools. This position provides technical support, manages projects, and helps ensure purchasing systems and processes are accurate, reliable, and working effectively. The Business Systems Analyst works closely with Purchasing staff, County departments, internal teams, and vendors to improve system functionality, develop reports, coordinate system updates and testing, maintain documentation, and provide training and support to users as purchasing systems and processes evolve. The St. Johns County Purchasing Department is responsible for management and facilitation of procurement and contracting for goods, services, and construction. Purchasing manages the procurement and contracting function in accordance with SJC Policy and procedures, Florida Statutes, and all other applicable rules, laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations.
