About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Business Systems Analyst V opening for our client. This is a remote, 9-month contract position. The role involves leading complex application projects from proposal through implementation and post-implementation. The analyst will develop functional specifications, test plans, test cases, data mappings, estimates, and project documentation. They will serve as a functional lead and subject matter expert for assigned applications, coordinating project teams, meetings, milestones, and deliverables. A key part of the role is partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate application impacts, and ensure technology solutions support business and customer needs. The analyst will also analyze complex data, interfaces, and system dependencies using SQL, data validation, data lineage, and root-cause analysis. Support for consumer lending and ACAPS processes, including loan origination, underwriting, credit bureau processing, decisioning, booking/funding, and operational workflows is required. Coordination of functional, integration, regression, and automation testing, along with identifying opportunities to improve test coverage and release quality, is essential. Collaboration with technical teams and vendors on application functionality, integrations, implementations, and system changes is expected. The role includes monitoring scope, change requests, regulatory requirements, testing issues, and implementation activities to ensure timely resolution and compliance with technology standards. Mentoring less experienced staff through application training, research, analysis, and project methodology guidance is a key aspect. Conducting post-implementation reviews, resolving outstanding issues, and comparing actual project timelines and financials against plan are also required. Identifying and escalating risk-related issues and maintaining internal control, audit, regulatory, and corporate technology standards are crucial. The scope of responsibilities includes serving as a senior functional lead and subject matter expert across complex, enterprise-level initiatives, coordinating across business units, applications, testing teams, vendors, and technology stakeholders. Analyzing upstream and downstream impacts of system changes, integrations, conversions, and business initiatives, and promoting shift-left quality practices, continuous testing, automation, and early defect detection are also key. The analyst will manage multiple complex projects while maintaining scope, quality, regulatory compliance, and delivery timelines.
