Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in business systems analysis, process improvement, and solution identification
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate user requirements and operational procedures
• Demonstrated expertise in cost/benefit analysis and technology assessment
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills for effective documentation and stakeholder engagement
• High interpersonal skills to motivate teams and elicit quality work output
• Knowledge of IT industry trends, architectural concepts, and relevant tools
• Experience with emerging technologies relevant to business systems
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative in a limited supervision environment

• Experience with healthcare applications
• Familiarity with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and documentation templates

Responsibilities

• Analyze business objectives and identify alternative technology solutions to meet organizational goals
• Conduct comprehensive studies and cost/benefit analyses to recommend optimal system enhancements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, review, and document user requirements and operational procedures
• Develop detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and workflow steps for system modifications
• Evaluate existing computer system capabilities and scheduling limitations for feasibility of requested changes
• Document and analyze data input, data summarization, and report formatting requirements
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure successful automation or improvement of business processes
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform system architecture decisions
