Business Systems Analyst Senior (Multiple Openings)
About The Position
Ashley Distribution Services, LLC has multiple openings for Business Systems Analyst Senior in Mesquite, TX. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand supply chain problems and develop advanced analytical solutions using tools like Power BI and SQL. The analyst will apply supply chain knowledge to improve and support transport management systems (TMS) and fleet management systems, and develop a new system for business partners. Key responsibilities include translating business requirements into system requirements, acting as a liaison between business and technology teams, developing requirements and user stories, facilitating scrums, managing the Azure DevOps backlog, and assisting with testing (E2E and UAT). Up to 10% domestic travel is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, and 5 years of technology experience, OR Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, and 3 years of technology experience.
- SQL writing experience.
- System mapping and business process mapping experience.
- Scrum Story creation including development tasks experience.
- Project Requirement document creation including test scenarios and test scripts experience.
- Database integration or API mapping experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business supply chain problems and develop advanced analytical solutions.
- Use multiple tools and methods including creating and validating Power BI, SQL and test cases.
- Apply knowledge around supply chain to help improve/support our transport management system and fleet management systems.
- Develop a brand-new system to support our business partners.
- Partner with multiple business users across the organization to understand business requirements and develop tools to improve our supply chain systems and TMS.
- Translate business requirements into system/operational requirements by collaborating with business and technology teams to execute the application successfully.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology team.
- Develop requirements and user stories (PBIs) to build systems for business partners.
- Facilitate scrums to teams by ensuring the Agile scrum framework is followed.
- Coordinate with Product Owner for planning of sprints, maintaining healthy backlog, and facilitating scrums.
- Maintain Azure DevOps backlog for business requirement development, testing, and reporting.
- Assist in End-to-End testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
