Business Systems Analyst, Senior
About The Position
Serves as a senior liaison between Lines of Business and Technology, translating complex business needs into clear, complete, and approved functional and non functional system requirements aligned to PNC standards. Leads end to end analysis activities, including current state assessment, gap analysis, and future state design, ensuring requirements fully cover approved scope, regulatory considerations, and associated risk controls. Produces and governs high quality deliverables such as business requirements, user stories, data maps, process flows, and acceptance criteria using approved methodologies (Agile or Traditional) and standard tools. Partners closely with Product Owners, Architects, Engineers, QA, and UAT teams to validate solutions, support defect triage, and ensure delivered functionality meets business and control expectations. Provides senior level guidance, coaching, and oversight to other analysts, promoting consistent analysis practices, documentation quality, and adherence to enterprise change and delivery standards. Supports post implementation and business as usual activities by monitoring outcomes, validating process performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Requirements
- University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
- Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
- Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities
- Participates in analyzing business requirements and production specifications for changes made to technology applications.
- Formulates and defines the system scope and objectives, based on user needs and business processes.
- Directs business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results.
- Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes.
- Provides recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues, for a specific business group.
