About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst for Workday Compensation & Reporting will support the design, optimization, and operational excellence of DoorDash’s Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules. This role partners closely with People Operations, Total Rewards, People Tech, Finance, and HR Business Partners to ensure our compensation programs and reporting capabilities are scalable, compliant, and aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate brings strong Workday expertise, analytical skills, and a passion for improving processes through technology. This role reports to DoorDash’s Sr. Manager of People Technology. Design and implement solutions that directly improve the employee and manager experience across performance, pay, and planning cycles. Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Workday with a focus on Compensation and Reporting (Advanced Compensation strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Workday configuration, including calculated fields, EIBs, business processes, condition rules, compensation foundational setup and security.
  • Strong capability in building custom reports, dashboards, matrix reports, trending analysis, and data validations.
  • Ability to translate technical system requirements into clear, actionable processes for nontechnical partners.
  • Experience supporting compensation cycles (merit, equity, promotions) in Workday.
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and comfort working with large data sets.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and proactively solve complex problems.
