The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) is seeking a full-time Business Systems Administrator. This is a state position governed by the Civil Service Rules, in state government located in Oklahoma City, OK. OMMA offers a comprehensive benefits packet, including a generous benefit allowance to offset the cost of insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependents. The annual salary for this position is $80,000 based on education and experience. Position Summary The Business Systems Administrator oversees the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the agency’s Salesforce platform, ensuring it remains stable, scalable, and aligned with evolving organizational needs. This role optimizes system performance, drives enhancements, and supports users through training, troubleshooting, and adoption efforts. Working closely with internal stakeholders, the Administrator translates operational requirements into effective system functionality that enables accurate data flows, efficient processes, and high‑quality reporting to support informed, data‑driven decision‑making. As a key contributor to a growing IT environment, this position helps establish a mature, resilient technology foundation for the agency.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or a closely related field.
  • Two years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a similar environment.
  • A current Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM201).
  • Knowledge of information technology; of repository/data dictionary systems; of data security systems; and of database maintenance utilities; of computer technology and secure coding processes; of laws, rules, and regulations affecting the organization’s business needs; and of Salesforce best practices, platform functionality, and security measures.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to review, elicit, and interpret complex business needs.
  • Ability to apply data processing analysis techniques and to resolve and prevent database integrity problems.
  • Ability to develop and use appropriate testing protocols.
  • Ability to design appropriate systems independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to perform highly independent work in the design, analysis, and maintenance of databases and/or security systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven expertise in managing complex Salesforce tools, including OmniStudio, Axsy, and MuleSoft.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Flow and general Cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Manages user setup, roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings.
  • Creates and maintains custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and page layouts.
  • Develops and maintains reports and dashboards to support business operations.
  • Provides day-to-day support to Salesforce users, resolving issues and answering questions.
  • Conducts training sessions and creates user documentation to promote adoption and best practices.
  • Ensures data integrity through regular audits, deduplication, and data cleansing.
  • Imports, exports, and updates data using tools like Data Loader or third-party application.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline processes and improve system efficiency.
  • Monitors system performance and implements updates in line with Salesforce releases.
  • Manages integrations with other systems and third-party applications.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.
  • Works effectively in a team environment, participating and assisting their peers.
  • Participates in the development and evaluation of program objectives and procedures.
  • Provides training and technical assistance to internal staff.
