Purpose The Business Systems Administrator will support the Business Systems Group by managing ERP systems and SOX processes, ensuring efficient business operations, compliance, and continuous improvement through data analysis, system administration, and stakeholder collaboration.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent commensurate experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • New college graduates, possessing a completed internship are welcome to apply.
  • 1-5 years of experience in business requirements gathering quality assurance, system testing, or business process mapping.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and API connections for data retrieval, PowerBI and ERP systems (Vantagepoint preferred).
  • Experience with HR systems/concepts (UKGPro preferred).
  • Working knowledge of process development, business process reengineering, and performance improvement methodologies.
  • Proficient in process mapping, data analysis, and project management.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Visio, Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub preferred.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with both business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, reengineering, and optimization through technology solutions.
  • Develop, document, and maintain business process flows, functional specifications, and system requirements to support decision-making and compliance efforts.
  • Assist with change management initiatives, including developing communication plans, training materials, and resistance management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements, coordinating with cross-functional teams to develop actionable solutions.
  • Assist with marketing the firm's capabilities by preparing presentations and reports that showcase our technology-driven efficiencies and support business development efforts.
  • Assist with the marketing of the firm's capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve system issues, inefficiencies, and process gaps.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, including requirements traceability matrices and functional design documentation.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing and validate system changes to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Utilize SQL and other data analysis tools to generate management reports that provide insights into business performance and risk awareness.
  • Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to develop current and future state process maps and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants to enhance and maintain ERP systems and other business applications.
  • Research, document, and communicate business requirements, system changes, and enhancements clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.
