About The Position

The Business Systems Administrator helps RightNow Media build, maintain, and improve the business systems that run daily operations — with Salesforce at the center, alongside the connected tools that support billing, scheduling, and related workflows. This role focuses on hands-on configuration, automation, integration upkeep, and documentation. Partnering with the business analyst and the Director, the Administrator helps define, build, document, and maintain solutions, and keeps the platform healthy, reliable, and well-documented. This is more than a ticket-closing role. The Business Systems Administrator helps ensure the organization's core systems are dependable, sustainable, and continually improving.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of hands-on Salesforce administration and build experience
  • Proficiency with Flow, the data model, page layouts, and the security/permission model, plus configuration-level integrations
  • Salesforce Administrator certification, or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • Strong documentation and change-management habits
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and evolving needs — helping shape solutions collaboratively rather than executing from a finished spec
  • High attention to detail and a collaborative, service-minded approach to supporting internal teams
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Information Systems, Business, or similar, preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Platform App Builder certification
  • Experience with subscription/billing (e.g., Chargebee), tax (e.g., Avalara), scheduling (e.g., Calendly), or comparable SaaS integrations
  • Experience maintaining integrations across multiple business systems
  • Familiarity with change-management, testing, or release-management practices
  • Interest in growing across additional business platforms over time
  • Experience using AI tools to support build, documentation, troubleshooting, or workflow efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Build and configure solutions in Salesforce — Flows, data-model changes, security, and configuration
  • Work with the team to define solutions in discovery, then build them into well-structured, maintainable configurations
  • Treat automation and configuration as maintained products, with clear documentation and lifecycle management
  • Maintain healthy integrations between Salesforce and connected systems (billing, tax, scheduling, and others)
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve platform and integration issues
  • Own routine release management and sandbox work for assigned systems
  • Document configurations, automations, and integrations in the system of record so knowledge is shared and durable
  • Follow change-management, testing, and access-governance standards
  • Regression-test changes against the automations they touch before release
  • Serve as second-line support for requests that go beyond day-to-day administration
  • Partner with the business analyst and stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-understood solutions
  • Balance responsiveness to requests with consistency in standards and platform stability

Benefits

  • Retirement plan plus employer matching
  • Medical, life, and disability insurance plans
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays (including the week between Christmas & New Year)
  • Conference and mission trip scholarships
  • Family bonding leave
