About The Position

We have an opportunity for a Business Strategy Director to join our Corporate Strategy team remotely in the United States, reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Strategy. In this pivotal role, you will drive strategic analysis, business planning, and end-to-end execution of high-impact programs with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions and post-merger integration. You will help Infoblox evaluate strategic opportunities, build fact-based recommendations, and translate decisions into durable operating results. As you deepen your understanding of our products, go-to-market strategy, customer lifecycle, partner ecosystem, and operations, you will identify opportunities to improve growth, customer value, retention, expansion, and operational effectiveness. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will support M&A activities and deliver clear, actionable insights to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, strategic consulting, business operations, transformation leadership, or a related field
  • Experience with an MBB, Big Four strategy, or specialist go-to-market or customer-success advisory practice, combined with operating or implementation experience
  • Demonstrated experience supporting M&A and post-merger integration, including operating-model evaluation, integration priorities, and value realization
  • Experience with enterprise software customer lifecycle, customer success, renewals, retention, expansion, channel, or partner-intermediated markets
  • Background in networking, DDI, security, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, or adjacent enterprise technology
  • Experience with partner-led motions and product-led growth or digital-touch motion design for long-tail segments
  • Proven ability to build fact-based analyses, financial models, business cases, forecasts, scenario analyses, and performance measurement frameworks
  • Ability to lead through influence and deliver results when Field, Renewals, IT, and partner organizations do not report directly to you
  • Practical experience using AI and automation tools for research, analysis, productivity, content development, or decision support, with sound judgment regarding validation and confidential information
  • Excellent executive communication, storytelling, presentation, writing, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills; bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

  • Lead structured strategic analyses, ideation sessions, and planning workshops with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Scope ambiguous business questions, establish a defensible fact base, test assumptions, and develop executive recommendations
  • Support M&A strategy and execution, including market and company analysis, strategic rationale, synergy assessment, diligence, integration planning, and value tracking
  • Develop post-merger integration plans covering decision rights, governance, milestones, dependencies, communications, risks, and outcomes
  • Assess competing operating models and recommend practical choices that balance customer experience, business performance, organizational effectiveness, and people impact
  • Map current-state and future-state customer journeys across enterprise, mid-market, partner/MSSP, product-led growth, digital-touch, and long-tail segments
  • Evaluate customer lifecycle, customer success, renewal, retention, expansion, channel, and partner-intermediated motions to identify best practices
  • Build business cases, financial models, forecasts, scenario analyses, investment recommendations, and executive decision materials
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution while maintaining alignment across teams that do not report directly to you
  • Establish measurement frameworks, repeatable playbooks, and best practices that connect M&A and strategic initiatives to measurable business outcomes
