About The Position

Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management is seeking a Business Strategist, Vice President to join the Client Solutions Group (CSG). This role involves creating, implementing, and managing business development programs for various channels including Bank, Independent Advisor, Broker-Dealer, RIA, Retirement, Institutional, and International. The position reports to GSAM’s CSG Global Head of Business Strategy and requires close collaboration with external/internal sales professionals, managers, and financial professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing professional development, practice management, and training programs for financial advisors and intermediary sales professionals. Strong interpersonal skills, experience delivering educational content, workshops, and presentations, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives are essential. The candidate should be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and business analysis skills
  • Understanding of business practices materials used by financial advisors and institutions
  • Wealth management industry experience (10-15+ years), particularly working with financial advisors and institutions affiliated with Independent firms, Bank/Trust organizations, RIA, and Broker-Dealer firms.
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the Business Strategy Team to develop, refine, and manage the suite of practice management programs, team development programs, and sales development programs for financial advisors/professionals and institutional clients in the US, EMEA, & Asia.
  • Coordinate with internal/external CSG sales/service to source new business and coordinate with client-advisors to ensure timely completion of projects and deliverables.
  • Assist in conducting training/coaching programs for select GSAM intermediary clients designed to help them be better practitioners and professionals (e.g., grow their business, better serve clients, enhance their skills).
