About The Position

Great Lakes Energy is looking for a relationship-focused and results-driven Business Solutions Specialist to help grow Truestream's business customer base while delivering an exceptional customer experience. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to business customers, guiding them through the sales process, supporting ongoing account management, and identifying solutions that help their organizations thrive. You'll build strong relationships, drive revenue growth, collaborate across departments, and play a key role in expanding Truestream's presence throughout the communities we serve. A Day in the Life of a Business Solutions Specialist As a Business Solutions Specialist, your day may begin by reviewing your sales pipeline, responding to customer inquiries, and preparing for meetings with prospective and existing business customers. You'll connect with organizations throughout our service territory to better understand their connectivity, communication, and technology needs, helping them identify the Truestream solutions that best support their goals. Throughout the day, you'll meet with business leaders, conduct discovery conversations, prepare proposals, and guide customers through the sales process from initial contact through service activation. You'll build meaningful relationships, follow up on opportunities, and work proactively to ensure customers receive exceptional service every step of the way. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams to coordinate installations, support onboarding activities, process account changes, and ensure successful service delivery. Whether helping resolve a customer concern, managing contract renewals, or identifying opportunities to expand services, you'll serve as a trusted partner focused on customer success. Before the day ends, you may update CRM records, review sales and customer satisfaction metrics, forecast upcoming opportunities, and plan outreach efforts to support continued growth. You might also attend networking events, community functions, or industry gatherings to strengthen relationships and generate new business opportunities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least five years of related experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Two years of customer service experience required.
  • Experience in account management, sales, project management, consultative selling, customer service, or other customer-facing roles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365 and position-specific software applications, including CRM and customer management systems.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to emerging workplace technologies.
  • Experience generating leads, developing customer relationships, managing sales opportunities, and closing business solutions through a consultative approach.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills with the ability to build lasting business relationships.

  • Broadband or telecommunications industry experience is strongly preferred.
