About The Position

Cox Automotive Group is searching for a Business Services Specialist I. This is a 6-month W2 contract assignment with the opportunity for contract extension or to transition to a permanent, full-time role based on performance and business needs. The role involves processing, sorting, and delivering mail, performing data entry, preparing and scanning vehicle titles and associated documents, filing, retrieving documents, printing waybills, operating and cleaning mail processing equipment, organizing the workspace, auditing title inventory, and shipping/releasing titles. The position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented
  • Ability to type and use 10-key preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong customer service attitude
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities
  • Openness to others’ views and ability to give and welcome feedback
  • Ability to put the team’s success above own interests and contribute to team goals

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and push/pull up to 1200 lbs on lift jack
  • Ability to work variable shifts for day and evening
  • Ability to work in a loud office environment

Responsibilities

  • Process, sort, and deliver incoming mail
  • Perform data entry
  • Prepare vehicle titles and associated documents for scanning
  • Scan, verify, and associate titles to barcoded folders
  • File folders in a secured vault repository
  • Retrieve folders and documents from a secured vault repository
  • Print waybills and ship or release outgoing titles
  • Operate mail processing equipment
  • Clean equipment, such as scanners
  • Organize workspace
  • Audit the title inventory
  • Ship and release titles
  • Perform duties outside of normal responsibilities as needed
