About The Position

The Business Sales Analyst will serve as an embedded analytical and planning resource supporting Liberty Tire Recycling’s Outbound Sales division. This role will integrate commercial, operational, inventory, and financial data to provide the team with timely insights into business performance, customer demand, pricing, profitability, capacity, inventory, and supply risk. Working with the Outbound Products commercial leadership and the Vice President of Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning, this individual will translate data from multiple systems into actionable analysis, planning tools, forecasts, and recommendations. The role will work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Procurement, plant General Managers, Regional Vice Presidents, and other functional leaders across Liberty’s network of TDF and Crumb facilities. The position will also identify and develop practical applications of AI and automation that improve forecasting, reporting, scenario analysis, data visibility, and business decision-making. This requires a combination of analytical ability, business judgment, systems fluency, and curiosity about emerging technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, supply chain, analytics, engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in business analytics, financial analysis, commercial planning, supply-chain planning, SIOP, operations, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Experience working with data from multiple enterprise systems, including ERP, inventory, CRM, financial-reporting, and business-intelligence platforms.
  • Experience in Advanced Planning Systems, Power BI, Tableau or similar solutions
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, financial performance, pricing, profitability, inventory, capacity, and supply-and-demand planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to use modern analytical, automation, and AI-enabled tools to solve business problems.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and experience developing dashboards, reporting tools, and analytical models.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with commercial, operational, financial, technical, and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales volume, revenue, pricing, margin, customer performance, product mix, and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain recurring reporting that highlights material variances, emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Evaluate customer and product profitability, including production cost, freight, pricing, and regional supply considerations.
  • Monitor pricing realization and identify potential pricing leakage, margin erosion, and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze customer demand, sales pipelines, forecast changes, and commercial opportunities.
  • Compare actual business performance against budgets, forecasts, prior periods, and other relevant benchmarks.
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term business planning.
  • Prepare concise, decision-oriented analysis for business and executive leadership.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated customer-demand forecast for the company’s outbound markets.
  • Compare forecasted demand, open orders, sales pipelines, available inventory, production plans, and plant capacity.
  • Identify anticipated supply constraints, inventory imbalances, and customer-service risks before they affect the business.
  • Develop clear visibility into regional and plant-level supply-and-demand positions.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy and recommend improvements to planning assumptions, tools, and processes.
  • Evaluate alternative production and sourcing scenarios, including the effects of freight, production cost, capacity, customer location, and inventory availability.
  • Model risks and build actionable contingency plans.
  • Support the development and ongoing refinement of production plans across the TDF and Crumb network.
  • Analyze production capacity against customer demand by product, plant, and region.
  • Identify the most cost-effective production and sourcing alternatives, including freight to customer locations.
  • Recommend production, inventory, and sourcing changes needed to meet business requirements.
  • Integrate and analyze information from AMCS/Tower, MAS, Salesforce, BI360, and other applicable systems.
  • Improve data consistency and visibility across commercial, operational, inventory, and financial reporting.
  • Develop dashboards, planning models, exception reports, and other decision-support tools.
  • Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate data analysis, identify trends and anomalies, improve forecasts, and communicate actionable insights.
  • Identify and develop practical AI and automation applications for recurring reporting, customer analysis, pricing reviews, supply-and-demand planning, and scenario modeling.
  • Serve as an analytical bridge among TDF and Crumb commercial leadership, the VP of SIOP, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and field leadership.
  • Help translate commercial demand into clear operating requirements and operational constraints into commercial implications.
  • Provide objective analysis to support decisions involving customer commitments, pricing, inventory, production priorities, sourcing, and capacity.
