As a Risk & Control Advisor within PNC's 2nd Line of Defense Business Resiliency Risk organization, you will be remote. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. Partners within risk management to plan and execute the risk management program and corresponding communication strategies. Engages the lines of business to review and challenge compliance with programs. Coordinates and implements the risk management program to meet regulatory expectations. Coordinates the timely and proper execution of the risk management program within and across the lines of business. Includes consultation to execute the program components. Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Technology Risk, etc.) to proactively identify risk exposures across PNC. Challenges business self assessment results (including new initiatives, business as usual activities, and risk management program) and reviews applicable independent analyses. Requirements

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Provide independent oversight and challenge to the Business Resiliency and Operational Resilience Program
  • Actively monitor evolving industry trends and regulatory guidelines, providing market intelligence to resilience stakeholders to advise program design and internal strategy
  • Escalate program deficiencies to key internal stakeholders and document findings as needed
  • Build strong relationships with 1LOD Program Team and 1LOD/2LOD Risk Partners to foster a culture of effective risk management
  • Support the execution of the 2LOD Business Resiliency Risk Enhancements and Operating Plan
  • Partners within risk management to plan and execute the risk management program and corresponding communication strategies.
