About The Position

The Business Relationship Officer is responsible for business development and commercial lending activities for the Business Services department. This position develops and maintains relationships with existing and prospective business members by identifying their financial needs and recommending appropriate business products and services. The Business Relationship Officer originates and processes business loans, supports commercial members throughout the lending process, and works to expand the credit union's business portfolio through exceptional service and community engagement.

Requirements

• Five to eight years of similar or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• Strong interpersonal and public relations skills.
• Excellent sales abilities.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Business development and commercial lending activities for the Business Services department.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective business members by identifying their financial needs and recommending appropriate business products and services.
• Originate and process business loans.
• Support commercial members throughout the lending process.
• Expand the credit union's business portfolio through exceptional service and community engagement.
