About The Position

Coastal Community is committed to improving financial health, enriching lives and building healthier communities. We are looking for a Business Relationship Manager. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Business Relationship Manager, a commercial lender, will have the ability to connect with individuals inside and outside the organization, using existing and new centers of influence, and representing the organization to members, clients, the public, and other external sources. The Business Relationship Manager will also monitor commercial loans in an assigned portfolio and ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, checks and balances. They will initiate action to generate growth and development of their portfolio, pursue new business opportunities, develop and nurture strong relationships with our business members and prospects as well as initiate action on delinquencies to mitigate risk of loss.

Requirements

  • A degree in Business Management or relevant post secondary education.
  • 2 years commercial lending experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Broad experience in all aspects of commercial lending.
  • Strong business development skills.
  • Portfolio administration; monitoring and delinquency control.
  • Ability to connect with individuals inside and outside the organization, using existing and new centers of influence.
  • Ability to represent the organization to members, clients, the public, and other external sources.

Responsibilities
