The Business Relationship Manager I (SA) develops new commercial banking business prospects in accordance with established business development plans. This role is responsible for retaining and deepening existing customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and developing effective individual business plans. The position focuses on growing a loan portfolio by targeting small and local businesses, aiming to generate between $3MM - $6MM in annual gross production. It also involves building a team and working cohesively with all staff at the banking center, actively contributing to the banking center's goals, and individual sales and referral goals by cross-selling and referring customers to bank business partners for more complex financial needs. The role structures and presents credit and deposit products and services, negotiates credit pricing and terms, and oversees the preparation of new and renewal loan packages. Additionally, the Business Relationship Manager I may solicit or take residential mortgage loan applications and manages the hiring, daily activities, coaching, evaluating, and counseling of reporting staff. Maintaining current knowledge of internal risk controls, loss prevention, and adherence to all federal and state laws, regulations, and bank policies is crucial.
