About The Position

This role is for a Business Product Owner who will support both Airport Analytics and the Contract Center Analytics teams. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business needs, defining priorities, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the delivery of high-value data and analytics products. This involves translating business requirements into user stories, validating data delivered by IT, and coordinating user acceptance testing. The Product Owner will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT/data engineering teams, facilitating communication and ensuring solutions meet business requirements and quality standards before production deployment.

Requirements

  • Product owner role – most of the activities will be of Product owner.
  • Prioritizing work IT has done and Validating their work.
  • Must know how to build report in Dashboard.
  • Data Validation experience (will not be developing ETL code).
  • Translating requirement of contract center and validating data.
  • 3+ years of experience is required.
  • Effectively manage stakeholders across the business and technology teams.
  • Provide proactive, transparent communication on project status, risks, and milestones.
  • Establish strong partnerships with IT.
  • Facilitate regular touchpoints.
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery process.
  • Ensure that data products are thoroughly validated, meet business requirements, and are production-ready before implementation.

Nice To Haves

  • Stockholder management
  • SQL
  • Tableau – the more the person knows Tableau the better it is. (someone who can write LOD functions.)
  • Any certifications- Scrum is good to have.
  • Airlines experience.
  • Airport domain knowledge. (Airport operations preferred, else can look for Contact center operations.)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, define priorities, and develop a clear product roadmap.
  • Gather, document, and refine business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure delivery teams are focused on the highest-value initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between business and IT teams, facilitating communication and alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with data engineering and IT teams to support the design, development, and productionization of data products.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively communicate status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Review and validate delivered solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and data validation efforts prior to production deployment.
  • Partner with business users to ensure data products, dashboards, and reporting solutions are ready for operational use.
  • Continuously gather feedback and identify opportunities for product enhancements and process improvements.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and help remove roadblocks that may impact delivery timelines.
  • Validate data and analytics solutions delivered by IT teams.
  • Track project milestones and provide status updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivered capabilities are production-ready and aligned with business objectives.
